Latest Updates from Our Project:

Shipping Update, Autoduel Fiction, and Dice
about 4 years ago – Fri, Feb 07, 2020 at 02:04:55 AM

First thing, the fulfillment team has shipped over 1,000 Pocket Box rewards and they continue to pack and ship boxes each day. Thank you to all of you who have shared pics and videos of your rewards! We will continue to pack and ship boxes until everything is on the way. We'll post another update in about a week or so with the latest shipping info.

 Autoduel Tales Proof

The proof copies of Autoduel Tales, the Autoduel Quarterly fiction collection, are in the office! As stated in this update, we're skipping the Kickstarter campaign for this book and have moved straight to the "let's make a book" stage of the project.

The book comes in at 270 pages and includes 30 stories.

I'll take one of the copies home this weekend and . . . uh . . . "check the proof." Rumors that I'll be reading classic Car Wars short stories this weekend are dirty lies that are not to be believed. I'll be "working" this weekend!

Okay, this is officially way cooler than I was expecting. Getting all of these stories into a single collection may be the best thing we do today!

Dice Preorder Store Now Open

For U.S. gamers, we have opened a new dice preorder store where you can find several dice, including metal wizard and dragon dice that were produced for The Fantasy Trip: Decks of Destiny campaign.

Check out the preorder store here and grab some dice today!

Shipping Update, Autoduel Quarterly Fiction Collection
about 4 years ago – Wed, Jan 29, 2020 at 01:21:00 AM

As of this morning, 832 packages have been shipped out to the Kickstarter backers. The fulfillment team continues to pack and ship rewards, and we ask for your patience as they work as hard as they can to complete shipping everything.

 Autoduel Quarterly Fiction Collection

The $235,000 stretch goal for the Pocket Box campaign was unlocked and promised a Kickstarter campaign for a book collecting the short stories of Autoduel Quarterly. (Find ADQ in PDF today at Warehouse 23.)

Since the Pocket Box delivery is running behind, we're going to make this a lot easier on everyone and bypass the Kickstarter campaign. Instead, we've just moved forward with a book that comes in at over 200 pages and will be released for sale later this year. (Maybe in March? We're not 100% certain of the date yet, but we are working on it.)

You've had to wait long enough for the Pocket Box rewards (thank you for your patience and understanding), and we would rather not force you to also have to wait for this collection to run through the process of a Kickstarter campaign and the time required for a survey. We're skipping the Kickstarter phase and just acting as if all stretch goals were unlocked; this book is loaded with stories!

We will make the new book available in the BackerKit survey for Car Wars Sixth Edition (the survey is set to open in February) and it will be offered under the same tools that we use for our GURPS On Demand program. We are now reviewing the 200+ pages and I can comfortably say that this will be a very popular collection with those of you who enjoyed the short stories that were published in Autoduel Quarterly. I'm looking forward to adding this to my Car Wars collection at home!

We'll make an announcement when the book is ready for purchase.

Pocket Box Shipping Has Begun!
about 4 years ago – Wed, Jan 22, 2020 at 12:57:34 AM

Hello everyone, we bring good news: Pocket Box shipping has started! ATX Fulfillment has shipped 392 orders out so far, with more happening throughout the week. If you haven’t gotten a shipping notification yet, don’t worry, it will still take a bit more time to complete the shipping.

We want to thank everyone for being so patient with us during this project, and are very happy to start getting those boxes into your hands.

Ogre Miniatures Set 3 BackerKit Open

We should also mention that the BackerKit for Ogre Miniatures Set 3 is also open and accepting preorders at this time. We know some of our backers here may also be Ogre fans, so if you’re interested in adding the Doppelsoldner or Ogre MK VI to your plastic ranks, you can do that now!

Say Hello to the CMA CGM LA SCALA (For those who want to track the container ship.)
over 4 years ago – Thu, Dec 19, 2019 at 02:30:34 AM

Do you want to know where the Pocket Box games are this holiday season? They're on a container ship, heading across the ocean and set to land in Austin in early 2020! For those of you who wish to track the progress of the shipment, you're searching for the CMA CGM LA SCALA container ship. Once you find that big boat, you'll know exactly where your rewards are . . . for now.

Lots of Pocket Box games on the water!

Car Wars Sixth Edition

2020 will be a big year for Car Wars. In addition to the retro reprint of the classic game and many of the accessories, we're also working on a completely new edition of the game that will be shipping to backers of that Kickstarter project late in 2020.

Visit the Car Wars Sixth Edition page on Kickstarter today and join in the fun!

We will see the containers in Austin next month and we will start processing rewards as fast as possible. Note that this will be a multi-week project; there are a lot of rewards to pack and we have around 2,000 packages to mail. We will keep you updated as we enter the final stage of this project.

Car Wars Sixth Edition

In other news, Car Wars Sixth Edition is now on Kickstarter! Over 3,000 backers have unlocked several stretch goals; check out the campaign page to see pics, videos, and to learn more about this new edition of the classic game of autoduelling.
